Preschool 2025 - 2026

Welcome to Bluebell Nursery and Preschool!

We have established here at Stapeley Broad Lane since January 2023. Our setting is in a mobile classroom, within the school grounds and we have created an inviting and exciting indoor learning space for 3 and 4 year old children. Our teaching and learning environment offers a wide range of stimulating activities and resources, which promote each child’s learning across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. We have an enclosed outdoor learning space and we also utilise the school grounds and main school hall too during the week.

Our Preschool hours are 9.15-112.15 for a morning session (including 'lunch time') and 12.15-3.15pm for an afternoon session, Term Time Only. Children can do full or half days. We have a minimum requirement of 15 hours.

We offer an early start of 8.35am for a charge.

Children can either bring their own lunchbox or enjoy a school dinner (additional charge). They have their lunch in the school hall.

"Wrap-around care" is offered by our before and after-school club. You can use your FEEE funding to cover extended school days.

3 and 4 year old children are able to attend Holiday Club, we can hold pre-agreed places for children over school holidays to enable them to join for a full year. These additional holiday days are not covered by FEEE funding.

We have spaces for Preschool aged children to join us and take 3 year old children too, we usually intake children at the beginning of each half-term.

It's a great opportunity for your child to have a smooth transition to Reception; building friendships, getting to know school routines and expectations as well as staff and their new school.

We are have spaces for children to start now and we can put children's names onto a waiting list, for them to start in the future.
