If we pick up on any speech and language concerns in Preschool, we will always talk to you about them and discuss how we can support your child. If you have your own concerns, always come to us too. You can take a look at Cheshire East Facebook Page. They share lots of ideas and give support, as well as offer places to walk in and chat to professionals about your child and any concerns.

We use this site too in Preschool to support assessments and help us to plan and deliver activities for children who need it. 

Click here for more information about typical stages of speech and language in children. You can read about your child's development and see if it is 'typical' for their age. There is a progress checker you can do as a parent too, if you have concerns you want to check. 

Dummies can hinder speech and language. We know that they are a great comfort to children but if you need support or advice on how to wean your child and take the dummy away there are lots of options for you. Speak to us, speak to a health visitor or follow links such as this one for more advice and support.
