Our Classroom and Outdoor Area

Inside our Preschool

We work hard to change and adapt the learning space for the children, to keep them engaged in the environment. We pride ourselves in taking time and care to make all our areas look inviting and fun for children.

We will upload some pictures as we prepare the classroom!

We change and adapt the learning space regularly. We enhance activities, such as the playdough and sand so the children can link their learning to our Topic work. We also put out activities with more focus and purpose, such as Maths and Fine Motor. We change and adapt the classroom activities multiple times over a week, depending on the children's needs and interests. Equally, every term or so we move the classroom and the areas completely to give the children a fresh new layout to enjoy!

There are pictures at the bottom for you to take a look at from a few of our things during our first week.

We have been very fortunate over the Summer to have had M'DAS Construction donate their time and resources to lay a path and turf our outdoor area, as well as offer future support too. We cannot thank them enough for their hard work and donation, it will make a massive difference to our children and their learning.

We have created an additional space, accessed directly from the classroom too which is partly covered and astro-turfed. Our areas are work in progress, as we develop them and build our bank of resources but we are very grateful to local companies, NWF Agriculture LTD and Rowlinson's Garden Factory Outlet who have kindly donated to us. NWF provided ample pallets which we have upcycled and painted to create different things for the children and Rowlinson's have provided 3 sandpits, planters (which we are using for resources in the Winter months!), a bench and a discount on a storage shed. It has really helped us so far and we are very appreciative. Equally, thank you to parents who have donated tyres, pipes and various bits and pieces to help us on the way.

We are working hard to make and create and upcycle as much as we can for the children to use and enjoy in our space. If you think you can help or lend a hand, we would love to hear from you!
