Welcome to Stapeley Broad Lane C of E ( C ) Primary School website. I hope it will give you a real flavour of our school.

Stapeley Broad Lane School is a place where children can grow into self-confident and caring members of the community. We are a semi-rural school, just outside Nantwich and are known for our friendly and warm atmosphere. Every child is special here, and we get to know and value all their little quirks and characteristics.

At Stapeley Broad Lane School, we aim high. Our motto is "Where Children Matter Most". We aim to provide excellent learning experiences, and we want the children to achieve the very best that they can. The school has an enviable academic reputation, but we still believe in enriching the curriculum through visits, visitors, residential visits and special experiences.

We are a church school and have very close links with St Chad's Parish church in Wybunbury.

Educating a child is a team challenge. We want to work closely with parents to give the children the very best that we can.

We hope that you enjoy our website. If you’d like to know more about us, or if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

 Elle Morris

It is with great sadness that I must give you the news that Elle Morris, a former pupil at our school, died last week, on January 3. Elle, who had cystic fibrosis, had been poorly for some time.

Elle was an exceptionally brave, courageous and resilient girl who took all of her health problems and treatments in her stride. She built many warm and lasting relationships with pupils and staff.

Her funeral will be held on Friday 19th January 11am at St Mary’s Church in Nantwich. However, there are plans for a more child-appropriate memorial event to be held in Nantwich. We will share further details once this has been confirmed.

People are invited to leave messages of support on the Facebook page to her parents Becky and Ian and sister Cara, who are, naturally in our thoughts and prayers along with other members of Elle’s immediate family.

Yours sincerely

 Ian Shackleton

Our school was inspected by Ofsted in January 2015 and was judged to be OUTSTANDING!
