If your company runs a "Matched Funding" type initiative, please contact a member of the PTA. This could help boost the Summer Fair takings!
We are fortunate at our school to have a PTA that has been an integral part of the school community for many years. In its time the PTA has raised thousands of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s educational experience and the school’s facilities.
Our PTA is about much more than simply fundraising. The PTA exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school.
We also have a Facebook page - Stapeley Broad Lane School PTA - find us and 'Like' us!
The PTA held their AGM in September 2019. The minutes of this meeting can be found here

PTA Events - Autumn 2020
The PTA has organised a clothes & shoe collection with Bag2School in order to raise funds for the school.
Bag2School is the UK’s leading textile recycler and fundraiser working with schools and since its inception in 2001 it has now paid out over £36 million.
If you fill the donation bag (which we will send out the week before collection) and still have more, then you can use any other bag to donate your items and don’t forget to ask grandparents, friends and neighbours to have a sort out as well!
Bag2School will be collecting from the school car park on Wednesday 25th November at 9am (just in time to make space ready for Christmas). Please bring your bag (or bags!) to the designated area on the car park and help us have a fantastic collection.
The full list of items of second hand uniform can be found on the PTA’s facebook page. These items are available on a first-come-first-served basis
The PTA also have an Amazon Smile account
It couldn’t be simpler. Use the link below to set us up under Stapeley Broad Lane and follow the instructions in the comments. 0.5% of your purchases goes straight to the PTA.
Flyers for this were sent home with children this week. Please return your completed forms to school after half-term, so that the PTA can get this organised and participants can start winning prizes!
Father Christmas – unfortunately we are not going to be able to run our usual Christmas Fair, but the PTA have been thinking imaginatively and creatively to ensure certain key elements of the Fair continue, particularly the opportunity to communicate with Father Christmas.
You should have received a separate e-mail explaining how members of the PTA have been in contact with the North Pole to arrange a personalised letter and treat from the busy man himself.
Don't forget to register as a member at the Co-op to earn funds for the PTA as our local co-op's chosen charity.
Lottery leaflets have been sent home inviting you to participate in the PTA’s lottery. A draw takes place each month with 3 prizes available. Please return these via the PTA post box or the school office.
The PTA have organised an Usborne Live Book Event for Thursday 26th November via our PTA Facebook group. Ideal for getting Christmas presents we’ve got an exclusive 20% off RRP.
The event will run throughout the evening with timings below. For any books you’d like to purchase just add a comment below to the item and the seller will arrange to take payment and deliver to your home. Each Key Stage will have books tailored to their current classroom curriculum.
Total purchases over the night will generate up to whopping 60% back in free books for the school that they can choose to support the children’s learning so every purchase supports the school.
