Stapeley Broad Lane CofE Primary School

Dear Parents,

Unfortunately. due to my absence from school at the very start of term, we were unable to hold a "Meet the Teacher" Zoom meeting in September.  However, Mrs Payne has done a great job looking after Class 4 for the first few weeks.

Please find below a link to a copy of the Welcome to Class 4 letter which I emailed to you all and you should have also had a paper copy of it sent home via your child.  Many of the rhythms and routines are similar to Class 3, so your child should be well adjusted to their new class.  If, however, you still have any questions or queries about Class 4, please feel free to catch me at the end of the day at pick up time, or drop me an email, if you prefer.

Best wishes,

Mr Cura

Mrs McDonald, our music teacher for B flat, has sent me a number of YouTube links which she feels may be beneficial for the children to watch if they are CLARINET players.
Even if your child doesn't play clarinet, they may find it interesting.
The links are below:
Lesson 1 Clarinet parts
Lesson 2-1 Assembling mouthpiece and barrel
Lesson 2-2 How to make a sound
Lesson 3 How to assemble the whole clarinet
The first 3 notes
Many thanks,
Mr Cura
