Mission, Vision & Aims

The following was developed by staff and governors after an INSET session on 2nd September 2013

 Mission Statement

'Where Children Matter Most'.

Vision Statement

Our Vision is for our children to be happy, well rounded individuals who have a love of learning through which they achieve and progress.

We want them to enter the wide world as;

  • Confident and positive individuals with Christian values and spiritual awareness
  • Responsible citizens able to make a positive contribution to society
  • Adaptable individuals in an ever-changing world
  • Life-long learners who achieve their maximum potential

We are committed to the following core values which help us to deliver them

          • Resilience

The following behaviours are examples which support and underpin our core values;

Mutual Respect - fairness, tolerance, manners, trust, valuing individuals, empathy, sympathy, honesty, listening, tact, thoughtful, address problems and promote solutions, communication (verbal and non-verbal).

Collective Responsibility - pride in whole school environment/work/displays, high expectations, behaviour, common goals, shared success/issues, reliable, teamwork, collaboration, resourceful, approachable, showing respect, helpful.

Resilience - perseverance, ignoring distractions, thinking things through, challenging oneself, searching for solutions, motivation, persistence, curiosity, experimentation, reflection.

Our Vision will be met through the following Aims.

To develop confident and positive individuals with Christian values and spiritual awareness, we aim;

To serve our community by providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. We aim to encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promote Christian values through the daily experiences we offer all our pupils and our links with St Chad's Parish Church in Wybunbury, and

To support children in making the right choices socially, morally, spiritually, culturally and emotionally.

To develop responsible citizens able to make a positive contribution to society, we aim;

To encourage and welcome the wider community into the daily life of our School, drawing on skills of others and working in partnership to further support and extend children's learning, so that they relate to and respect the immediate environment, the wider community and the world beyond.

To develop adaptable individuals in an ever-changing world, we aim;

To continually develop a self-improving, forward thinking school, fully involved and consulting staff, governors, pupils and parents.

To undepin our creative curriculum with first-hand experiences and a reliable and modern ICT infra-structure.

To develop life-long learners who achieve their maximum potential, we aim;

To help each child to achieve their full potential, by proving a broad, balanced, creative and challenging curriculum that meets the individual needs of children through high quality and purposeful teaching and learning within a rich, safe, stimulating and purposeful learning environment, and,

To nuture a lifelong love of learning, enabling all children to gain a sense of cievement and grow in confidence.
